The 53rd special exhibition "Traveling: The Journeying People of Kawagoe" at the Kawagoe City Museum highlights the travel culture of the Edo period. Visitors can learn about the impact of travel on people and the history of mobility among the residents of Kawagoe.
The exhibition runs from July 25 to October 4, 2026, with admission fees of 200 yen for adults, 100 yen for university and high school students, and free for middle school students and younger. Please note that the museum is closed every Monday.
