The Kawagoe "Kimono Day" event takes place on the 18th of every month at Rokuen-ji Temple (蓮馨寺). It features a variety of activities including kimono collection, recycled kimono sales, traditional accessory sales, and matcha tea offerings. Notably, if you bring your own kimono, we also offer a memorial service, allowing you to dispose of kimonos you no longer wear.

On the same day, the "Goen Market" is also held, where you can enjoy handmade crafts, accessories, and delicious gourmet food. Wearing a kimono while exploring Kawagoe allows you to receive special services at participating shops, ensuring a truly enriching day!
